great for exploring eastbourne's art and beaches within walking distance
The convenient location was perfect for my weekend strolls, with the Towner Art Gallery just 700 meters away and the beautiful beach only 500 meters away. The friendly staff and cozy lounge area added to the warm atmosphere after a full day of exploring.

The location was stunning and peaceful, within easy walking distance of an Eastbourne pier. The staff was kind and supportive, wanted to make our stay excellent. We lived in the twin room with excellent shower and the bedroom.

missingWrote a review on 06 Novconvenient locationlight snacksunprofessional communicationunclean roomoutdated decor
The twin room felt dreary and in need of significant updates, with insufficient lighting and concerns about cleanliness, including a bed bug discovery. Communication was frustrating. Attempts to reach out for assistance went unanswered, and interactions with staff were unprofessional, leading to a denial of a refund despite my circumstances. The location was conveniently close to local attractions, and light snacks available were enjoyable, but the overall experience was overshadowed by the multiple issues encountered.

The location is terrific for exploring, with the theatre and beach just a short walk away. Owners are welcoming, and the tea and coffee facilities are well-stocked. While the room has a retro feel and could use some updates, it remains cozy and clean enough for a pleasant stay.

The breakfast was excellent and well stocked. The only member of staff we met was very nice and helpful.
The shower was cold and only a trickle came out. The double bed was actually two singles pushed together. TV only had 4 channels. Parking was on street and a nightmare to find a spot. Sliding door to bathroom was really rather unattractive.

missingWrote a review on 27 Septunsafe stepsworn bed
The overall state of repairs in the hotel was far from ideal, with cracked and unsafe front steps adorned with orange cones warning of the hazard. Room conditions were concerning. Broken door handles, a dirty shower tray, and a poorly maintained bathroom left much to be desired. The bed was practically unusable, feeling worn out, while mismatched furniture and a lack of adequate lighting contributed to a depressing atmosphere.
